Answer: The Centre for Conflict management is a not-for-profit, voluntary initiative for creating a peaceful, inclusive and vibrant world under the able guidance and mentorship of world-renowned expert in negotiation and conflict management Prof. Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM Indore.

Q2: Is CCM an online platform only?

Answer: No, CCM is not just an online platform. It also works in various campuses and institutions.

Q3. How can I share my conflict?

Answer: By going on the CCM’s website CCM|Home and clicking on ‘Share your conflict with us.

Q4: Is CCM a secure platform to share my personal conflicts?

Answer: Yes, it is secure and person's identity will be kept confidential and revealed only with his/her consent.

Q5: How is CCM different from other platforms that provide counseling?

Answer: Individual conflicts will be solved with the help of resource persons who have expertise in the field of conflict management. CCM is a non-profit organization, so everything will be free of cost.

Q6: Does CCM provide a person with an opportunity to learn how to resolve conflicts?

Answer: Yes, people will also learn about conflict resolution through our frequent webinars.

Q7: Will CCM organize any events in academic institutions?

Answer: Yes. Workshops will be held in institutions across India.

Q8: Will CCM pay the members for the work?

Answer: No. It is a not for profit initiative and a voluntary work.

Q9. What type of conflict can a person share through this platform?

Answer: A person can share any type of conflict, be it family related, professional conflict, conflict between heart and mind, career, relationship conflict.

Q10. To share an individual's conflict, is it important to be a member of the initiative?

Answer: No, you can share your conflicts without being a member.

Q11. Who will resolve my conflict? Will they charge any fees?

Answer: The team of our Resource persons will give you suggestions on how you can resolve your conflict. CCM does NOT and will NEVER charge any fee for anything.

Q12. If an individual's conflict is urgent, will they be given priority?

Answer: Yes, you can write urgent while registering your conflict and the team will get to you as soon as possible.

Q13. Is there any other medium than mail to register one's conflict?

Answer: Yes, you can also reach to us through our social media handles.

Q14. Who can join CCM?

Answer: CCM is open to everyone. People from any age group, any background can join CCM.

Q15. How can a person join CCM?

Answer:By going on the CCM's website CCM|Home and clicking on 'Apply'.

Q16. Is there a deadline for joining the organization?

Answer: One can join this organization anytime.

Q17. Is the working of the organization flexible that anyone can get out of it whenever they wish to?

Answer: Yes

Q18. Is internet a major requirement to be a part of CCM activities?

Answer: No, you can spread awareness among others without using internet.

Q19. Is any training required to become a CCM volunteer?

Answer: No. No training is required for volunteers.

Q20. Who can be a resource person in CCM?

Answer: Resource persons are the counselors who can provide counseling sessions and conduct webinars.

Q21. Will a member also be in contact with the person who has shared a conflict?

Answer: Yes, you could be in contact of the person if the person has shared his/her conflict through you. However, the counseling will be done by the resource persons.

Q23. What is the prerequisite to join as CA, CR and Volunteers?

Answer: There is no prerequisite except the ability to work hard and the passion to help others.

Q24. If a member has to change any state due to some reason, can he/she still continue to be a part of the organisation?

Answer: Yes, people can continue to be a part of this organisation from any place they want to.

Answer: Many people from different states are associated with this initiative.
